The Institute invites applications for the following post:

The Department is seeking a specialist in 20th/21st century literature in English with emphasis on modernism, preferably with an established interest in one of the following areas: (1) literature and the arts; (2) literary theory; and (3) an earlier period of British/American literature. He/She is expected to contribute to teaching, research, knowledge transfer and community service.

Applicants should have a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline, and evidence of good research output and publications in the relevant areas. Experience of teaching literature in English to non-native speakers would be an asset.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental benefits and, where applicable, housing benefits.
