Research Assistant I in the Hong Kong Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree, preferably a Master's degree in Humanities and Social Sciences with experience in conducting qualitative research. A good knowledge of Hong Kong's history and society will be an advantage. Applicants should be proficient in Cantonese and have an excellent command of written Chinese and English. The appointee will provide support for building up oral history archives under the Hong Kong Memory Project, and will assist in research duties such as literature review; conducting oral history interviews; preparing transcription; and indexing archival records, documentation and correspondence.
